ABOUT ME

I am kind of a quiet guy. I love learning and getting to know people. I also find food to be one of the best ways humans can interact. We all have to eat at some point.

I currently live in Brooklyn with several friends from my church, which is a Unitarian Universalists congregation. (Not quite church in the way you are probably thinking about.) I work in children's publishing which means that I work on children's books all day. More frustrating than you probably think it is.

I made this account when I lived in Denmark and never worked up the courage to take advantage of this great community, but I am hoping to dive in now.

PHILOSOPHY

I am a very open minded person and I strive to learn new things all the time. I want to get a better understanding of beauty and peace.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am working on getting up the courage to couch surf. Some of my friends are convincing me. I want to be able to do it very soon.

Many of my friends have taken advantage of couch surfing over the years and have had great experiences to share.

兴趣

I am a bit of a nerd, especially with SciFi. I have recently developed a passion for cooking. Or maybe it is just something I do to relax. I am also into some activism for equal rights in our everyday lives. Environmentalism is also important to me and part of the reason I am a vegetarian.

I work in children's publishing so I am always reading new books and trying to keep in with TV and movies.

I don't know... I think everything can be amazing, yet if it is all amazing, isn't it just regular? And why is regular a bad thing?
(I didn't get that much sleep last night)

I know a smidge about cooking, so we should really cook together. I know how to crochet... for the crafty people. I am working on learning more and more, but I am a bucket full of random facts and such. So who knows what will come up.
