ABOUT ME

I have a poet's soul... and the dreams of a idealist...

PHILOSOPHY

I am quite drawn to the Ghandi quote, "Live the change you wish to see in the world."
I have always been interested in my relationships with people but as I live in the city I am more and more drawn back to my roots in the natural world. Though I attempt to live my life consciously making choices that will minimize my negative impact on the world around me.
I am in the pursuit of change through kindness and sharing and make much time in the day to reflect upon my own decisions and the effect they have on my own life and that of others.

I have shared my home with many people so far and each time parted as friends.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My roommate and I have hosted many couch surfers from around the world. I would have to say that my favorite experience was when we hosted two fellows, one from Belgium and one from France. They had brought along a friend they had made while traveling and one evening we all collaborated on a huge meal. We ate and drank and laughed and everyone had a great time sharing stories from our lives.

We have hosted men and women so far from, Germany, France, Belgium, Austria, Canada, and from various parts of the USA. All have been very pleasant!
