I grew up in the Pacific North West so I have always loved the mountains and forests. Other people have always been my passion, I love any job or activity that I can do with others. If I am engaged then I am happy but if im stuck somewhere for too long with nothing to do I get very restless so the more activities the better! Also my family has always valued traveling and seeing the world so I have been visiting other countries and cultures since I was a young child.

School has always been easy for me and I very much enjoy education but at the age where I am at it is hard for me to really buckle down and study. So as a solution I decided to take a gap year and see a part of the world I have never experienced which is what led me to New Zealand.

Others may not agree but the most amazing thing I believe I have done is preparing for my trip to New Zealand. I was a broke college student who wanted to travel so I went from not working a day in my life to getting two restaurant jobs and working 70 hours a week for a few months to be able to fund my trip over seas.

One of my biggest reasons for leaving school was because I still have no idea what I want to do with my life. Because of that my one goal is to try to learn, experience, and try anything and everything I come across on my travels. Any skill I can learn, any wisdom that can be shared, or any advice i can find will help me on my goal to find myself.
