Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Live for the moment with consideration for my goals
ABOUT ME
I am a young woman who is very interested in culture and languages. I love to learn about other peoples' lives which is why I joined CouchSurfing. I also love to travel, so it is wonderful to have a community of people all over the world to connect with when I do get to travel. I love kids and music and being outdoors. I like to relax and have a good time whenever possible.
PHILOSOPHY
I'm working on developing my personal philosophy, although I'm becoming more and more convinced that you never really stop developing your unique philosophy for life. Right now I'm focusing on slowing down and enjoying each moment instead of rushing around trying to get to the next moment as quickly as possible.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I hope to host whenever possible, and if I can't host at least show you around. I also hope to travel, and maybe you can host me! I would love to participate in any way to benefit myself and the all my fellow couchsurfers.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Working on it...I've certainly slept on many couches in my life, most of them in the homes of my friends and family.

Music, Movies, and Books
Pretty much everything in all categories. I love both the Alchemist and The Witch of Portobello by Paulo Coelho. The Alchemist changed my life the first time I read it. I also love lots of fantasy and science fiction in both books and TV/movies. I love Joss Whedon's work, especially Firefly and Serenity. Memoirs of a Geisha is one of the most visually stimulating books I have read (so much so that the movie wasn't even as visually stimulating). I love the book Lamb. I love to read and I especially like books with good visuals and strong character development.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The two weeks I spent in Japan in 8th grade as an exchange student were incredible. I really believe that it sparked the travel flame in my heart.
Teach, Learn, Share
I try to learn from life as much as possible, I'm happy to learn what you have to teach. I especially want to learn more about gardening and sustainable living. I hope that I have something to teach, but my knowledge base is pretty random. I know lots of random facts.
