ABOUT ME

I'm a pretty laid back kind of girl, but from time to time wanderlust strikes.

In the past, I have somehow managed to travel through much of Europe and the Middle East, and I currently aim to go back to Istanbul, which I found to be a wonderful combination of both regions.

I grew up in Seattle in a fairly multicultural home. My parents are practicing Sufis and so I feel that their philosophical and religious outlook has shaped me greatly.

I love exploring new places, and I love just relaxing and taking in my surroundings, so in either situation I am fairly comfortable.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I really love meeting new people and have acted as somewhat of a tour-guide and host for many people who have come to visit me (unfortunately, since I am new to couch-surfing, these have just been friends visiting from the East Coast or other countries). I am happy to meet up with anyone who might be interested and show them some of my favorite parts of Seattle, though I won't be able to offer my home at this time.

I also want to be able to meet new people when I eventually get back to Turkey (hopefully in June 2010), and once I have my own place there, I would be happy to have couch surfers come stay with me.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've stayed with friends of family in different cities, most notably in Paris and London. Also friends of friends or friends' places in other countries such as Edinburgh and Agen.

I am always happy to have people visit and have hosted people at apartments on the East Coast as well as had numerous friends stay with me in Seattle. I love showing people around the city.
