Hey guys, it´s Pascal, the man on the right who´s smiling as if he just got a cookie.

The guy on the left isn´t on the picture without a reason, he´s my mate Fabian with whom I´m currently backpacking through Australia and still going to aim for New Zealand, Bali and Thailand.

Heading to university right after school, just for heading to an office job right after university, didn´t seem like a fulfilling life to us. We felt like there´s more to see and more to experience in the world than the preparation for the next exams.

Unlike many German backpackers we saw at the East Coast already, we´re not into drinking and partying 7 days a week, but prefer to stay and travel in our cozy station wagon to catch as many impressions of the culture, the nature and the people of Australia as possible.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The main reason is personal growth. Couchsurfing seems to be the perfect opportunity for us to leave our comfort zone, extend our horizon and get in touch with warm and open minded people all over the world.
