About Me

Heyo!

I am back on couchsurfing again!
Now that it's safer again to travel, I'm planning on doing so!

I study social work close to my hometown Cologne and currently I am working in a shelter for homeless people and drug addicts!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on couchsurfing because I love to meet new People. . No matter if old, young, male, female, muslim, atheist, gay, heterosexual - just tell me your story! :)

Interests

With traveling I mean seeing places and people.
I can't stand being in a Hotel at a beach for a week or two doing nothing.

I'd rather fill my backpack with all the important stuff I have, which is not much, and go for it. Did that twice, Australia and New Zealand and had the best time of my life.

Music, Movies, and Books

I really don't like watching movies or series, so nothing to say about that!

My taste in music has very wide range.
From Indie to Deathmetal.
(except Schlager lol)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was travelling New Zealand with friends I've met in a hostel there, we went on a 3 day hike without any plan. So we walked about 50kms in these 3 days, not prepared for such a long walk at all.
We carried glass bottles, heavy sauces, in glas bottles, and glas containers with food with us. We noticed very early that this was not very smart.
We hitchhiked to the starting point but we didnt think about a carride back.
Little did we know it wasnt high season and there was literally NO ONE on the parking lot who could take us back.
We were running low on drinking water after day 2 and on the campsites were no showers. We were smelly, hungry and dehydrated. Then we finally thought about how we were going to go back to the hostel were a lot of our stuff was. - We were ready to go the 50kms back - we wouldnt have survived tho lol.

Then there were 2 people in the middle of nowhere and I could hear them speak german.
I asked them how there were and if they had water for us. They gave us each a bottle of water and took us back to their van and they drove us all the 50km back to the hostel, even though they didnt need to go there. We fell asleep immediately in their van and were so greatful. We were so exhausted, we didnt even get their names.

So happy we found these angels on our way - otherwise Id probably still be stuck there lmao.
