About Me

I work as researcher in computer science. I've my kids one week other two, so got a room available one week other two!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet new people and discuss about all and nothing.
As a host, to renew the ancient tradition of hospitality. As a guest, because it's definitively the best way to travel, especially alone, and that's only marginally a question of budget.

I really appreciate to share but please do not consider couchsurfing just as free hostel. So, some simple rules for travelers:
- Be contactable, I consider a couchsurfer that goes out and come back when s/he wants as impolite
- But also be independent, I no longer organize my schedule for couchsurfers (too many stand up), but you are usually welcome to join my activities

Disclaimer : I accept requests based on a quick vibe/feeling but mostly my own mood, so if I reject your request there is nothing personal about it.

And of course : Couchsurfing is not dating.

Interests

I'm always looking after small/medium independent/alternative concerts (no tributes!) in small place or even at somebody's home, theater plays, art/independent movies, .... I will bring you if you want, I could even find them in your own city ;-)

I organise board game events at home through couchsurfing or other platforms, if you stay long, you may be able to assist also.

I usually go everywhere in every city by bike (shared bike system when available), I will provide you one when you are with me in Nice.
