About Me

PHILOSOPHY

Give and people will give back, do anything you do 110%, if you ever regreted not having done something, be smarter the next time.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I impulsively booked flights for California a few years back. I hosted some people in the last few years to get to know the concept as well as meeting new people. Most of them were last minute so just helping some surfers in trouble. .. And I had a few people in my RV that I took through California which was definately a good choice. So I became accustomed of having couchsurfers or surfing somewhere since I believe thats the better way to travel. Who needs boring Hotel rooms if you can have heated discussions about the world or just enjoy some good music together in silence.. so I'm here just for the same reason as most others.. host fellow surfers to spice up every day life at home and be the one that spices up other peoples routine by staying with them.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've only had a couple of people over for a weekend and that was enough to be completely convinced this is way cooler than booking a boring, expensive hotel in which you are alone and have nothing to do.

Interests

I do any sport that includes a board to stand on and never want to stand still. Well thats a lie, I can also be really lazy but only if I have company. Being lazy together is a good thing, being lazy alone isn't an option though. I also really enjoy get togethers with 10+ people at homes because then there's always some great conversations going on. I am a software engineer both as a hobby and as a professional so I can give quiet a few insights on computer technology and everything digital. However I won't bother people with that stuff unless they are really interested in it since I can imagine it being quiet boring to some people.

What I Can Share with Hosts

my cooking skills and me I guess. If you have a wish that I can fullfill (like german chocolate or something) I'll try and make it work. Just don't go asking me to bring a cuckoo clock (a host asked me once xD) those things are really hard to get by and quiet heavy.
