Salut! Hi there! Hola! :)

J'étudie Ingénierie Mathématique à l'Université de Santiago du Chili, mais maintenant je fais une Stage Scientifique à MODEMIC-SUPAGRO / Montpellier, France. Je suis arrivée à la ville de Montpellier initialement pour accompagner mon copain Víctor, qui est dans une programme doctorale de Mathématiques Apliquées en cotutelle avec un professeur de la UM2 depuis abril. En fait, c'est lui qui m'herberge pour pouvoir faire la stage.

I study Mathematical Enginering at the University of Santiago of Chile, but now I'm doing an Internship here in the team MODEMIC-SUPAGRO in Montepellier, France. I initially arrived here to visit my boyfriend Víctor, who is in a Ph.D program of Applied Mathematics in coadvisorship with a Prof. of the UM2 in Montpellier since april, and he is accommodating me here while the internship is being done.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Je suis sur Couchsurfing parce que j'aime voyager et parce que je voudrais connaître des autres cultures et les pays près de la France, mais c'est très difficile pour moi de payer un hôtel maintenant.

I am on Couchsurfing, because I love traveling and because I would like to know other cultures and countries near of France, but now it's very difficult to me to pay an hotel.

Estoy en Couchsurfing porque amo viajar y porque me gustaría conocer otras culturas y países cercanos a Francia, pero en este momento es difícil para mí poder pagar un hotel.

Interests

J'aime la Poésie et en fait J'aime de la écrire aussi, J'aime beaucoup de Cuisiner, Voyager, prenner de la Photo, faire le vélo, faire de la randonée et observer les oiseaux, sur tout les oiseaux de la patagonie chilienne :).

I like Poetry and in deed I also like writing Poetry, Taking some Photos, I really love Cooking and I am very good at that!, I like Cycling with my boyfriend, Traveling.. I love doing some Trekking and watching birds, especially the birds of the chilean patagonia :).

Me gusta mucho la Poesía y también escribirla, Andar en bicicleta. Amo Cocinar y de hecho soy muy buena en ello!.. también amo tomar algunas Fotografías, viajar y disfruto mucho hacer Trekking y Observar aves, sobre todo las de la patagonia chilena :).

Sur la Musique J'écoute de tout.. un peu de Folk, Post-Rock, Brit-Pop, Rock Latino, Jazz, Blues, Fusion. Sur les films, J'ai aimée American Beauty par Sam Mendes, Lost in Tokyo par Sophia Coppola, Talk to her par Pedro Almodóvar, Frida par Julie Taymor, parmi d'autres.. et sur les livres, je préfère généralement la poésie de Gonzalo Millán, Enrique Lihn, Sylvia Plath et Raymond Carver :).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I really loved a travel that I made with my boyfriend Víctor to the X region of Chile. It was amazing to see all those nice landscapes with lakes and mountains, volcanos full of color... watch those different kind of birds, trees, animals and plants in general... there is so much biodiversity there! and I also loved the people who lived there, they are very welcoming people and very kind :). We also visited Frutillar, Puerto Varas, Puelo, Cochamó and The National Park Vicente Pérez Rosales and Puyehue. I would really like to get back there and to make the route of Carretera Austral by bicycle.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to share culture and knowledge, you can always learn from the others, you only need to listen and to observe :). I've always been moving among the different languajes of the arts, this is pretty natural to me. I am always singing here and there, inventing new words, writing, reading, looking for some new music.. That's my essence.

I'm also really interested in science, but specially in biomedical sciences, ecology and biodiversity. I love to investigate by myself things related with these subjects and at university I have been teaching assistant three times. One of them was in Computer Science (All this stuff about Data Structures and Computational Complexity), the other was Odes (Just the Methods, nothing so amazing) and the other one was Caculus in Several Variables.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Well, I think that it could depend on the person with whom I share, but anyway it's always a good experience to learn and to share, just like I said above, you can always learn from others, you only need to listen and to observe. Most of the time I try to be a respectful and ethical person, for me all the beliefs and cultures are legitimate. When I commit a mistake, I recognized it and I ask for pardon.

But! I really hate the smoke of cigarettes, and I am a bit obsessive with the cleanliness of the place where I lived jeje :P!
