About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Comprehending every day a bit more the world I live in.

ABOUT ME

I'm a etwenty-years-old girl, curious, passionated and keen to discover new things about the world I live in.

I love reading, playing the guitar, going out with friends, traveling and discovering new places and people, speaking foreign languages, listening to music, great art photography, smell of the cut grass and the rain when it's hot, lights and stars at night, looking at clouds at any hour of the day, philosophy, cinema from everywhere, going to exhibitions and beers (i'm belgian, after all!)

I've spent 3 month in Italy in 2010 and it's been a revelation to me. I lived in a host family and went to school like a "normal italian student". I met plenty of italian people, but also an english bakker and his italian wife, and people from all over the world, who were having an exchange time as I was. It was like have been living in a goldfish bowl and discovering with sparkling eyes the exitence of the ocean.

Since that day, I've been wanting more.

PHILOSOPHY

My way to go through life is being open. Open to a new people you meet, new churches where you can enter, new professions, new artists, … The world is big and there are so many marvels to see. You have to dare and to be outgoing!

"Make your lives extraordinaries !"

"Dare to strike out and find newground"

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My main interst is sharing.

I'm ready to be a guide helping you to discover my country : Namur and Bruxelles are the cities I know the best. But I also know Liège, Brugges, Anvers, Gand…

Hosting might also be one of my activity. But I'm living in the familly house. That's why I would have to get to know you a little and would have the disponibility of the entire family to say YES.

For my part, I have several traveling projects and I'd like to find people to show me their city as they love it. Show me their favorite places, views, shops, … Anything :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm new on this website, but my family and I have already been hosting people. Youngsters traveling with AFS (fom Czech Republic and Japan) and a man who became a real friend : from southern France, Camargue.

Once more, sharing experiences, passions, get to know about each other's culture is the point.

Interests

DISCOVERING : NUMBER ONE.

I also love reading, playing the guitar, going out with friends, traveling and discovering new places and people, speaking foreign languages, listening to music, great art photography, smell of the cut grass and the rain when it's hot, lights and stars at night, philosophy, cinema from everywhere, going to exhibitions … and beers (i'm belgian, after all!)

Music, Movies, and Books

These are the latest things I loved :

Film -> "TAMPOPO", is a 1985 Japanese comedy film by director Juzo Itami.

Music -> FLORENCE AND THE MACHINE, revealed to me in the Rock Werchter Festival.

Book -> "MARIE STUART", biography written by Stéfan Zweig.
"KAFKA ON THE SHORE", novel written by Haruki Murakami.Brilliant.
"CLOUD ATLAS", David Mitchel : MINDBLOWING!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Once, I've been kisseb by a butterfly in the Swiss mountain.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love reading and looking at films, I could tell you about our belgian literature and films. And also about what I read and look at, coming from South America, England, East europeans counties, Asia, … There's no discrimination!

I can cook and I might be teaching you how to make a very tipical "mousse au chocolat".

Well…
