About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Learn, teach, experience, love and squeeze as much juice out of my life as I can!

ABOUT ME

I am optimistic at my core. I do not see the point in being negative, angry or hateful. I always try to be open to new things and experiences. I love meeting new people and traveling. I strive to be spontaneous, relaxed, open-minded, reliable, supportive, and curious. I believe myself to be very getalongable as well :)

PHILOSOPHY

I am not a Buddhist, but I find a lot of value in the principle of interconnectedness. Optimism is my life-philosophy. Since the world around us is based only on our perceptions, I figured that making those perceptions positive is the way to go :)

Interests

I am interested in eveything I have not yet tried! I enjoy meditation with poi just as much as a crazy Latin dance night! My interests are all over the place: surfing, roller-blading, salsa and break dancing, soccer, tennis, water sports, parkour, books (mostly philosophy and fiction), 5 instruments. At this point I can say that I've tried most of the wide-spread hobbies out there. Currentely planning to engage in flash-mobs, yoga, exploring world religions, DJing, urban salsa and fractals.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music...sooo much music and so little time. I've been enjoying a lot of Latin rhythms lately, but I also love jazz (especially gypsy jazz), alt. rock, bossa nova-type stuff and quite a bit of hip-hop. As for movies and books, I read for pleasure mostly in Russian and generally watch movies in English.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have different "genres" of life. Although not seemingly flashy and grandiouse, to me they were a lot more that they might seem at first glance.
-Friend's unrelenting opimism
-A freestyle salsa dance by two random people that made me fall in love with Latin dancing
-A wave
-A sunset seen from a mountain in the middle of an Egyptian desert
-A jazz solo

Teach, Learn, Share

I believe anyone has something worth learning about, but people from other coutries generally have quite a bit more!
