ABOUT ME

We are a couple from Jyväskylä, Finland. We are studying at the Jyväskylä University which will occupy our daily time quite efficiently. When it comes to travelling, we like taking it easy, just exploring trough different places and talking with people, getting to know how people live. We also enjoy culture, like art and music, very much.

PHILOSOPHY

Just trying to live an enjoyable life. Beings nice to other people, maybe trying to find a school/job/career that would be both fun and useful for the society. To do things that make life worth living for. Well, don't know exactly what that is ;), but at least trying.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We would like to get to know people in all over the Europe. We are now living at separate appartments, and we are not always sure if we can host, so our response to the question, can we host, is definitely maybe :). Otherwise if you're in Jyväskylä sometime, we (or at least one us) will gladly join you for coffee or a drink.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We surfed couches around Europe in the summer of 2009, and it was the best trip ever! We have also met some couchsurfers in Jyväskylä and we have had one couchsurfer at Pasi's place (who was hosted by my roommate).

Interests

We like meeting people, hanging around in the park or at a friend's place, listening to or playing music (me Pasi, I play guitar and Selma plays flute), reading books, watching movies...

Music, Movies, and Books

Me and Selma have a bit different tastes when it comes to music, but we both enjoy good music. I like many kinds of music, my favorites are still rock bands like Radiohead, Soundgarden, Led Zeppelin etc., whereas Selma enjoys Coldplay and maybe a bit more pop-like bands. But we're not very strict about music, so if there's a good party going on or so, even some #1-top-of-the-chart-dance-hit can be the best song in the world.

We both like reading books, Selma maybe a little more than me. It's difficult to name favorite authors or books, there are many excellent writers.

We like see many kinds of movies. Comedy, thrillers, drama, anything goes.
