About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Making every day a special day

ABOUT ME

Born in Kortrijk near the French border, I now share an appartement in the Belgian city of Antwerp together with two Italian friends. I have studied history in Ghent, and now I'm helping people who work in archives and libraries in Flanders.
I try to use my free time to the maximum. My main hobby is photography (see my website for examples), although I'm still a beginner and learning a lot about it. My other hobbies are my friends, doing sports (running, climbing and cycling), enjoying music (Belgium is really a festivalcountry!!), learning and teaching about history, spending time outside in the nature...
In fact I'm quite broadminded, and I can enjoy both busy citylife as complete isolation in nature.
(ps. As I have found out this is very important for many people: I don't smoke, but I don't mind people smoking in my neighbourhood, except in my bedroom)

PHILOSOPHY

Enjoy your life today as there may not be a tomorrow.
Life's too short to spend it unhappy.
Mens sana in corpore sano.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My roommate Luca is ambassador for CS. This way I have made contact with some CS-guests, and have guided them in Antwerp. I have had only good experiences with CS. It's a wonderful way to meet interesting people from all over the world.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Guiding people into Antwerp city. Lately I've been to a nice CS-meet in Antwerp where I met a lot of very nice people.
