About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Travel. Have fun. Live
ABOUT ME
I am a independent travler and I love to meet people; for me it is one of the reasons I travel in the first place. I have travelled quite a bit to places like Australia, Canada, Europe and Egypt; I would like to travel more in the future but after this little trip, I will have to be sensible and earn some money.
I am a very laid back and relaxed person, and very much prefer 'going with the flow'. I tend to prefer to get lost and explore a location, as I find it much more fun than just staying on the beaten track or following the Lonely Planet routes.
I also have a travel blog going, although I haven't done any updates for like ages!!

PHILOSOPHY
I live to live; experience life, meet people and generally have fun. I find there is little point in getting angry or upset at life; you either live it or waste it.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
At the moment? Very little. I only just found out about CS about a month ago from a backpacker I met in Nadi (Fiji). So I decided to give it a go for my travels round the States, and then if it is as good as everyone tells me, then I will offer my couch when I get home.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have slept on many many couches; friends, family, friends of friends, people I met on my travels and the like. I tend to find that I usually sleep better on a couch than a bed; not sure why but I do.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Went to live and work in a remote Fijian community for two months, working very closely with the local Fijian people and learning a lot from them. The Fijian people were so welcoming that they felt like family to me.
