I am a basketball player and first-time business owner traveling to activate my company. European basketball is mostly a face-to-face business, and doors open once you’re close enough to ring the doorbell.

In 2024, I became an Italian citizen and started using Couchsurfing as a way to promote myself to pro basketball teams without an agent. The citizenship process was costly and I needed to find a way to keep going.

What I discovered was a community that added a whole new dimension to the journey. I’ve been so fortunate to meet great people that remind us how to be good to each other. It has been so refreshing and has left a big impact on me.

Now, I am beginning new projects and hope to find some support as I travel. In the past, I have helped people practice different languages (I speak a few), learn some basketball, and gave a listening ear to those who wanted an outside perspective. More than happy to lend a hand as I am able.
