About Me

A finance student from Bath. Currently looking for a job and a place to settle down. Occasionally travel around to meet new people and to see new places as long as my financials allow me to.

I am not much of a seasoned traveller. I have been to a few places and some of them i went back quite a few times. I go to new places as the opportunities present themselves. And with that, i would like to discover the life of that place, what makes it fascinating and unique.

Travelling is something that should be a part of everyone’s life, should they are able to afford it (i’m going to leave some socio-economic arguments out of this statement). There is a chinese saying that goes like this “travelling 10000 miles is better than reading 10000 books”. And i truly believe in it. It teaches me more about the world, and most importantly, about myself. It opens up my mind, pushes me out of my comfort zone, and gives me invaluable lessons that i can’t find anywhere else. And meeting people, listening to their stories, learning about their lives and culture is the best and most enjoyable way to do so.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music has been a big part of my life in the past few years since i properly discovered electronic music and the underground seen, especially in the UK. I listen to a wide variety of music, from Brasilian capoeira music to bluenote jazz, old Chicago house, legendary detroit techno and electro, German thumping and dark techno, UK garage, jungle, drum and bass, juke, bassline, noises, old folk music, 70s pop and rock or even classical (i played the piano for 12 years). Anything as long as it is enjoyable.

I also love films. After spending a year with film students from Bournemouth University i’d like to say i have seen more films that i would ever imagine. I enjoy a wide range of films from old swedish black and white film to david fincher. You can talk to me about films and i would love to listen!
