About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Buried naked in snow for some minutes

ABOUT ME

I like movement, action, adrenaline, wild sea, wild rivers, lakes, jumps, running downhill until you faceplant, mountains , crazy/stupid stunts on thick snow, beautiful bicycles, ugly bicycles, weird bicycles, small bicycles, tall bicycles, road bicycles, mountain bicycles, acrobatics, inhuman strength feats, chin up bars, swinging from tree to tree, climbing palm trees, climbing impossible to climb trees, running and again running, jump huge gaps, be massaged by powerful amazing waterfalls, eat bread on mountains summits, lie down to watch the sky and listen to the birds, drink fresh river water while you jump from rock to rock, taste exotic fruits, wrestle with your friend inside the sea, do competitive swimming during the winter, lie naked on the beach and feel the cold wind tightens your body, explore by bicycle mountains, gorges, forests, traditional neighborhoods and slip-roads, sleep in wild places, survive in nature, watch beautiful girls dancing, sleep on the beach, open watermelons by slinging them on the sea surface and then eat them while swimming, take an air mattress to the sea and let yourself taken away by the current, banging woods and stones with your friends to make echo noises in the mountains, empty your mind and run free until you don't have more strength to make a single step....

PHILOSOPHY

"Something spectacular happens when you mix hard riding, good friends, beautiful surroundings and punishing roads."

Music, Movies, and Books

Music is one of the most important pleasures in my life.I love jazz, jazz rock, free jazz, ethnic jazz, progressive rock, krautrock, blues world music (I love Malian musicians) and everything that sounds adventurous. Also european movies ( I really like turkish and british cinema) and documentaries! Lots and lots of documentaries!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Most of them are stupid, but I like to consider them amazing :P

One day before my presentation in the Danish University I cut my hair into a mohawk to increase the impact of my intellectual work

Walking on an iced river in Latvia (the locals did try to stop me) until the thin ice cracked and I fell into the water

Swam in an iced river (without clothes this time)

Participated in the panhellenic Downhill tournament without having a bit of experience. When I faceplanted eventually I knew that this was the end of my career.

I refused to take a gun in the army

Did some frontflips into the sea naked in a freezin winter night

Going to Patras from Nafpaktos by foot (with luggages on hand) because the bus was delayed

Descend snowy mnt. Panachaikos naked

Climb mountains barefooted

Participate in brutal slapping games

Squash some human crap with my bare hand to win a bet in the army

I was boomer in a helicopter that was washing power line insulators (400000V) to prevent wildfires and black outs. One of the 5 most dangerous jobs in the world. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y86Ar93ahts
