About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Live, Learn, Eat, experience and help.

ABOUT ME

If you asked my best friends they would say- This guy loves to play soccer! He seems to know everybody and wants to know anybody. LOVES food and loves to learn. He used to be vegetarian until he ate Argentine beef, but still keeps a balanced diet. He also likes to run, run run run. Gets distracted from homework easily but fun to have around.

PHILOSOPHY

Do good to others and good shall be done to you. I for some ODD reason find joy in making others happy. I sometimes give to much time to others and not enough my self and my own problems. Doing this really takes it out of me sometimes but I enjoy it!

I can´t write everything about my philosophy but I find my self more of a Buddhist more then anything.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Did it once in South America and would like to get more involved in the community. Im a traveler and this is the greatest idea EVER! :)

Interests

Science, Philosophy, Art, History, Ethics... You name it and I´ve probably learned something about it and if I haven´t I´m interested! But out of everything people grab my attention, people are the ones that make life living for, I love getting to meet people. I´ve had a great opportunity to travel the world and the only reason ANY of my adventures have been fun and exciting was because of the people I met! No matter what I am doing I somehow always meet people and its what makes life fun. ...Besides that I play soccer, read, run, and try to enjoy the few years I have in college. I am a Engineer that might change his degree because of his utter need to socialize.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I had a few awestruck moments in life but one of the greatest one was on my trip to Chile. On my study abroad to Chillan Chile, I happened to join a sub division of a professional team. The players were incredible!..and I was only playing with 15 year olds. The last few days in Chile, or so I thought, one of the kids went to the coach and told him it was my birthday, a complete lie! Next thing you know the kids gathered around me, ripped my old T-shirt off, and started throwing me in the air. 20 times for the 20 years I "just" completed. Afterwards one of the soccer players came up to me and took of his $70 jersey and gave it to me as a gift. I was in awe of his gratitude, to see a 15 year old be so selfless was new to me, especially when he was not that wealthy. On the walk home I ran into two more soccer players, Philipe and Gato (Nickname). I was shocked when Philipe game me his favorite Chealsea shorts and Gato his new soccer socks as a gift. This was overwhelming for me, these kids were not rich and were giving me some of there favorite things as if it was nothing. I was speechless, didn´t have a single thing to say. There was nothing to say to such selflessness and kindness. I had tears of joy for the first time...they were only kids.
