What am I? I'm an electronic engineering, doing my PhD in Italy's nuclear physics national institute, trying not to save any money but spending it all in doing what I like. This brings us to the next step.

What do I like? Mostly, the Netflix+Beer combo, but I also like a lot of healthy stuff, like skiing, hiking, spending time in the wild and playing guitar. Also, I'm a scout leader myself, which greatly helps with the hiking and spending time in the wild part, while also allowing me to fell a little bit better knowing that I'm at least trying to give this new generation kids some more instruments for them to find their way in life with. I also listen to a lot of music and watch a lot of movies ( although I'm not sure these are healthy habits or not, anyway.. ). I mostly listen to electronic and indie/punk rock bands. Help me a lot to focus!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Scouting and working/studying/researching/whatever take most of my time, but I feel like I now have what I may not have in the future: enough money and enough flexibility at work, and a profound urge to go exploring the unexplored and trying the untried.

I want to go see places I've only seen behind a TV screen or dreamt while sleeping. I want to feel genuinely lost somewhere, and figuring out the way home. I want to walk the hardest ( well, maybe not the hardest ) paths, and feeling relieved with the thought that, succeeding or not, I've done my best. I want to go as a stranger in a strange land, and come back renewed.
