Our pictures are indicative of how we are especially interested in trying different foods. Our taste buds and curiosity seem to find their way to tasty treats.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As with other hospitality exchange websites we are here “to meet friends we haven’t just yet met.”

It really has been special to connect with travelers through these means. We felt we’ve made friends for life from around the planet.

Interests

In our free time we enjoy gardening, cooking, hiking and leisure biking. During cold weather we enjoy our time indoors - working on a jigsaw puzzle or playing board games/cards.

Teach, Learn, Share

We have tried several approaches in our garden and have learned that having a compost is actually a win all around. Our kitchen scraps go into the compost make rich soil for us and we use this for growing our veggies.

It’s absolutely amazing to watch a seed turn into a full-grown plant that then fruits and rewards your work with a vegetable or two (if you’re lucky).

Nature truly is wonderful. We are not experts by any means but if you have a pot and some soil it’s easy to start growing your own herbs and some veggies.

What I Can Share with Hosts

If a kitchen is available at a host’s home we would love to cook something for them.
