About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I want to leave a good footprint, to contribute to a better world no matter how. Make the best out of my existence.

ABOUT ME

Below is the description I wrote in 2009 when I first joined CS. It's been a long time and I need to update it and probably fix some grammar mistakes. I'm pretty much the same person. I'm straight forward, happy, extroverted, curious, and affectionate. Just love to meet new people and have good conversations, more than anything else when I'm traveling. CS is a lottery but still a step closer to find great minds alike.

I used to host back in the day when I was living in Uruguay. But now I moved to the US to keep studying and I live with roommates and in a very reduced space and in the middle of nowhere. I would love to host but I need to have a better living situation to allow travelers to enjoy. I'm down for meeting and hanging out any time, though!

****** ******************************************************************************

Hola!

I grew up in a small atheist middle class family. I consider myself a very social and self-confident person, I'm not shy, and I am definitely eager to learn and listen from others life experiences.

I really love nature and science, that's why I have studied biology.

OK, here a list of things that I really enjoy:
-travelling and making friends
-computers and technology
-outdoor activities and camping
-ping-pong (I'm really not bad at it)
-wine
-pets (all kinds)
-sunsets (more than sunrises)
-movie marathons
-swimming (for fun, anywhere)
-board games
-sharing bizarre stories
-drawing when inspired

PHILOSOPHY

Feeling free but primun non nocere (what ever u do, never hurt others)

why do I live??
I don't know. I just happened to be here. I'm grateful to have this divine opportunity though. As a scientist, I'm simply amazed by this miracle of "randomness".

I hope the best for everyone, honestly.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm glad to receive people who want to visit my country, and I'm a traveller as well, so CS enjoys double benefits. I'm defenitely in :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My experiences with CS have been all amazing. Fortunatelly, everything has been great, fun, respectful, and you know.. I only met good people.
If I'm not too busy with my stuff, I'm glad to receive travelers. Of course, I always enjoyed showing them how my regular day is, and show them all kind of places, not only the "nice to see" ones. hehe..

Interests

Learning basically anything. Any new skill is a new world to explore and have fun with it. But I need free time. So free time is what I like the most. I'm not into money but I am into a good life with lots of quality time. I guess a good summary of my goal is to keep myself healthy and surrounded by amazing people, to be able to plan a better future everyday, and to be able to travel whenever I get a chance.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: lot of them! Honestly, I could be hours talking about movies

Music: is a hard one, I like a lot of things... Bossa, funk and soul, electro, deep house, jazz, electro jazz.. I don't know.. if it is good, it is good.

Books: sci-fi, mystery novels and dramas.. (besides boring studying books!) one of my favourite series: Earth's Children wrtten by Jean M. Auel (i recommend it! upper paleolithic fiction full of adventures) and of course, Life of Pi (master piece)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

mmhh hard to say... I took DNA from a hot dog and analyzed it to see what it was made of.

Teach, Learn, Share

I know about general biology (like I said above), genetics, evolution, etc. ..and about computers, movies, latin america stuff.. I'm not sure until I realized I know about something or I'm just completely lost. I'm not that good at trivia since my knowledge is kinda narrowed in a single branch. But I'm a good if I team up with others.

Countries I’ve Visited
