About Me

CURRENT MISSION

trying to work hard at my newfound job :)

ABOUT ME

just finished up my double BBA in Paris and in the Netherlands in international Business and finnaly got a job in Amsterdam

I am fluent in French English and I understand German.

PHILOSOPHY

I think that I adapt myself with the experiences I take from others, if someone has a different paradigm then me I am forced to think and perhaps take some good points and adapt myself.

I am a atheist however I do believe that ( paraphrasing a survivor of a nazi concentration camp) the essence "of live" is connecting to other people because without these human ties your live might end up bleak.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Some good friends of mine (and room-mates) introduced me to CS and we go often to the CS events in Amsterdam to meet new people and just "wing it".

I dont need a name tag to start talking to some one and most of the brilliant nights I had where couchsurving related

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I really like the randomness of those nights (couch surving meet ups), i.e you meet up go to a silent disco, or meet up again the next day with some Australians for some barbecued salmon at my place.

Most of these hosting events are "on the fly" and many of the once I hosted (or my roomates host) where not "formaly" added to this account, like a roomy picking up 10 Italians that where stranded at central station :)

Interests

I would love to meet others to spin some fire poi with I met some Americans that spinn aswell in this city.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books

the last book I began to read was The power of Now. but in general I don't read much books other then for my study ( for instance Max Weber: “The Protestant Ethic and the Spirit of Capitalism”)

I the past I used to love fantasie books like LOTR

Food

I am not going to retype the recipes ill just will give some titles and if you want more info ( or a taste) you just will have to message me :).

Salmon tagliatelli with coquille saint jacque, gambas and other "Fruit de mer"

Vegetarian Wraps with homemade sauce, Fallafal, guacamole Tatiki, and a fresh coriander union tomato lime and olive oil salad. (I lived with a vegan in Germany for 2 months)

Dessert flambéed mango with iced Profiterole (soesjes) with a Cointreau chocolate sauce (au bain-marie)

Music

It goes from dupstep to rap to rock. Actually in my point of view every style ( perhaps not so much hard-style) of music has at-least a couple of songs that I like and play.

Shows

I like a lot of shows Familyguy, Shouthpark, True Blood, Adam en E.V.E.

I also like animee like Bleach and Naruto, although I really like elven-lied for instance of Van Helsing (animee) or the movies of Hayao Miyazaki (howls moving castle).

Movies

Another time more in-depth but mainly I like good plots or uffed up movies, like requiem for a dream Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Memento, Twelve Monkeys, A Beautiful Mind.

Other then that I like Kick ass movies that don't necessarily have a very good plot but are fun to watch. Kill bill or 300 or even a series like Spartacus: blood and sand are typical examples of that.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach fire poi in like 2 3 hours :) or atleast the basics I am actually not that good but I can teach basic stuff (up to 5 beat) in 1 afternoon.
