I'm on couchsurfing because I identify with people that share. Sharing the space you live in, a very personal place, with a complete stranger shows a lot of courage and curiosity for how people fro other walks of life behave and think. I think thats pretty....awesome.

Haruki Murakami and Yukio Mishima's novels, lots of self help books, I have done some Pearl Buck. Anchee Min and "Wild Swans", these three have made me understand mainland china a lot more. My favorite book ever maybe "The Kite Runner"
