About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Exploring life

ABOUT ME

I recently moved to Bern to study Social Sciences / Sociology here. Before that I used to work in event management and plan on resuming that after my studies. Since I'm new in Bern myself I am happy to explore and do touristy stuff with my guests.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Before moving to Bern I have lived in two shared flats in Zurich, and in both of them we occasionally hosted couchsurfers. Whether it is just offering a bed for the night, showing them around the city or hanging out, it's always nice to meet new people and help them out :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have stayed with hosts in very different places and circumstances and on every occasion I met very kind and generous people. It's great to know people like this all over the world and that's one thing I love about couchsurfing.

Interests

I'm a big fan of sports and culture. For many years I have been an active high diver, now I do all kinds of sports, badminton, volleyball and the like. I am a very curious and open-minded person. I'm always happy to meet new people and explore new places. That's why traveling and especially couchsurfing is so great. When visiting somewhere new, I really like to just walk around, but also to check out museums and historical places. I'm a big film fan and love film festivals like Berlinale or the one in Locarno.

One of the most memorable things I've done would be scuba diving in Komodo National Park in Indonesia. Amazing dives and sights, living on a quiet boat in the middle of nowhere. Just beautiful!
