ABOUT ME

Currently living and working in Melbourne as a youth worker and community mental health practitioner. I enjoy riding to the point where I rarely, if ever, leave the house without a bicycle. I enjoy nothing more than my Tuesdays where I take my fixie around Melbourne and spend all day drinking coffee and trying new cafes and bars. That makes more sense when I tell you I have Tuesdays off...

I find time to ride my race bike most days as I use it to commute and train on. I like fitness but you won't ever see me run. Eugh running.

I also skate? Most people who find out my two sporting interests are confused by this. Lycra clad rider AND Ripped Jeans skater isn't a standard combo.

I'm from Perth though moved to Melbourne about a year ago so still finding my feet here. I'd like to get out to more gigs and events in this beautiful city.

I've done some couch surfing in Germany and met up with some people in France and Italy which was cool...Haven't done heaps though!

Books: I'm big on adventure and espionage though anything that is a good read I won't put down; books like Papillion, Die Nedal and My family and other animals.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Up in the north west of WA, kaiaking on the ocean about 1km from shore and finding myself surrounded by hundreds of turtles. Pretty scary as the bigger ones kept knocking on my kaiak though, which was definitely memorable as many were over 150cms long.
