Overview
About Me
Oh, let's see, first impressions will probably be that I'm a very calm, easygoing guy... but I'll open up a bit to you, anonymous reader on the internet: Inside, I'm a tempest. It shows when I haven't seen someone for a while and I tell them what I've been up to. They are surprised, often times, to find out that I have been, like, doing lots of things, as opposed to sitting in silent meditation or something. I'm actually what you call a "turbulent personality" who's never quite satisfied, no matter what I do. I'm always trying to fit ten pounds of shit in a five pound bag, and forgetting that I have to consider the time it takes to get somewhere in my agenda.
My word for 2026: Exploration
I intend to relentlessly expand my horizons, to listen to my inner voice, to take chances, and do things that scare me, all for the sake of a better, more connected and self-aware life.
My website is https://zzt64.com
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
When I'm traveling I want to meet locals who are interested in showing me where they call home, from their own perspective, and when I'm home I want to meet travelers who will let me play tour guide.
Interests
I'm interested in practically everything, but especially the nature-y and intellectual shit. And I like to laugh.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One time, when I was on Hawaii (the big island), I hiked through the jungle to one of the volcanoes near Kona. I remember being so amazed and a little terrified when the jungle suddenly ended at the lumpy black lava field and the spout of grey smoke was just a quarter mile it seemed from where I stood.
