Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because I want a sense of the heart and soul of the places I visit and I know that I can't figure out how to do that on my own.
Also, some of my best travel experiences have been made possible through CS.

Movies: I'd grab Pulp Fiction for a hypothetical desert island exile. If not that, then The Matrix. I haven't seen the Godfather yet, which some claim to be the best movie ever.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One time, when I was on Hawaii (the big island), I hiked through the jungle to one of the volcanoes near Kona. I remember being so amazed and a little terrified when the jungle suddenly ended at the lumpy black lava field and the spout of grey smoke was just a quarter mile it seemed from where I stood.
