I’m from Spain and I live in Terrassa, a city near to Barcelona, where I’m working in a non-profit entity as the head of Administration and Human Resources.

I consider myself as an enthusiastic, sociable, cheerful and very tolerant person. I think I’m usually pretty optimistic, trying to find the positive side of everything that happens.

I like my job, but in my free time I try to disconnect and evade me, so every time I can I go to walk or run to the mountain near from my home. I love practicing all kind of sports, specially adventure sports, since they make me feel adrenaline and freedom.

Another thing which makes me feel good and happier is dance, in particular dance salsa. When I do it I forget about everything.

I love travelling because It’s a way to escape from routine, meet people from different parts of the world and learn about their culture and history. However, if I have to choose a place to go I prefer a quiet destination where I can find natural landscapes, free of pollution and feeling peace and harmony.

In general, I like changes and discover new things because I think that leaving your comfort zone is positive and necessary for your personal growth.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I would like to live a new experience. I think it's a good way/tool to know people from different Countries and cultures and at the same time it's an opportunity to improve my comunicative English skills.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy listening all kind of music (pop, rock, hip hop, salsa, classical music, dance, …), but I prefer one style more than another depends on the moment.

Films I liked: “Law abiding citizen”, “Braveheart”, “Gladiator”, “Cinderella man”,”City of God”, … Nevertheless, I’m not watching many films lately. I prefer to watch some TV Shows like Dexter, Sons of Anarchy, Prison Break, Breaking Bad, walking dead, Homeland…

As far as books are concerned, I like to read psychology books which can be very useful in your daily life and can help you to manage your behaviour and emotions. (“Your erroneous zones” by Wayne W. Dyer, “Las gafas de la felicidad” by Rafael Santandreu, “Ikigai” by Hector Garcia and Francesc Miralles, "La sabiduría del Eneagrama" by Don Richard Riso and Russ Hudson).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Once I practiced paragliding and it was amazing!
I have also practiced many times cannoning and I have climbed high walls.
I recommend do it, It’s an incredible experience where you will feel alive.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would like to improve my English or learn another new language, so if you want I can teach you Spanish or Catalan. I can also teach you the basic rules of inline skating. And if you prefer I can show you some salsa steps… xD

What I Can Share with Hosts

If you are keen off adventure sports, I can bring you with me and my group of friends and practice cannoning, “via ferrata”, inline skating or even a little climbing. Or If you prefer and we have time we can also hike around some beautiful Catalonia mountains or visit nice places in Barcelona.
Besides, If you are interested in dance salsa, bachata, kizomba or even zouk, we can find a lot of clubs to go dance in Barcelona or surroundings.
