About Me
I traveled quite a bit when I was younger and then as life went on the trips went down to once a year or so. Now I'd love to start travelling more often again. I own a sweet little vintage shop in Northern Ontario, Canada. I'm 59 years old but feel like I stopped ageing, inside at least, at about 40. On my travels I prefer to stay away from the malls and check out the vintage. I'm friendly and easy to talk to. I'm a real pleasure! lol
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My daughter signed up as a CS host but then their renovations started. I put up 2 guests on different occasions and really enjoyed the experience. Now I'm going to Europe and decided to try couchsurfing out. I love meeting new people and especially the local residents.

Music, Movies, and Books
I enjoy lots of types of music but 70s is my favourite, except for heavy metal. Bruce Springsteen, Janis Joplin, Van Morrison, The Eurythmics, etc
I love a good mystery, good comedy and just about any British series.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In January I traveled to Costa Rica with a friend and went zip lining over a canyon! Waaay out of my comfort zone as I'm not fond of heights. I can barely go out on a third floor balcony.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love helping people who are learning English, with their every day vocabulary. Also, I'd like to explore vintage shops, flea markets, closets, with anyone interested.
