I am the youngest of nine. We moved from Tijuana Mexico to San Diego when I was five years old. I have seven kids, most of them adults. I like to travel whenever I get the opportunity and I also like to welcome people from other countries to my home.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Mainly, I am looking for a place to stay anywhere in France with my three daughters 27, 18 and 13), but I have heard lots of positive things about Couchsurfing and although I am new to it, I have been hosting exchange students from China for a while. This coming Summer, I will be hosting exchange students from Spain and France.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 2012 I went away for the summer and lived in a sheep/goat farm in Pennsylvania and learned everything there is to know about animal fiber, yarn and animal husbandry.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have volunteered several times in programs where I teach English to non-English speakers. I have also taught people how to spin yarn, knit and crochet.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am an excellent conversationalist especially over a glass of wine, beer, coffee or tea. I love to help around the house and do chores. If you need I will help you complete a task around the house.
