ABOUT ME

I am 27 years old and I currently live in London. I grew up in a tiny picturesque village in Franconia, Germany and soon started to go out and explore the world.
I studied Spanish in Barcelona, lived in Brighton and studied European Studies/International Relations in London and Germany.
I love travelling, music and meeting new people. I play the piano, flute and sing, previously in Orchestras in Germany, now in a band in London.
I am travelling through South America for 5 months from July until November and I am excited and looking forward to many encounters, adventures and interesting people, communities and projects on the way.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I recently joined the CS Project. I will be travelling through South America for 5 months and would like to surf on some couches on my way. I am very interested in meeting different people, learning and listening to them and sharing experiences. I will also get involved with local CS Meetings and Events on my way.

When I come back end of November our Couch in North London will also be available for travellers to come and stay with us and we can explore London together and I show you my favorite places.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have surfed many couches at friends houses. Only recently I travelled through Germany for 1 month in April and stayed with friends on my way.

Interests

I am interested in playing music, singing, dancing, travelling. I am interested in the connection of environmental sustainability, social justice and personal fulfillment.

I like to learn from other people, learn about other cultures, talk about politics, history and current events.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love music. Since very young I played the piano, flute and sing. I love jazz, soul, rock, samba, latino music, folk, world music and indie. Hard to pick out certain bands. I have pretty much the ability to dance and sing along to nearly everything.;-) I´m always curious and happy to explore new and different music.

I watch a lot of movies, mainly old classics, independent films, foreign films and documentaries. I really enjoy political thrillers or films with a connection to real life.

Currently I read a lot of books about South America, the Amazon Rainforest, Climate Change, Sustainable Living, Social Justice and Environmental Sustainability. I love biographies as well.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

travelled and organized a trip for hundreds of volunteers from the World Youth Alliance on a bicycle tour through Europe for 2 months to Brussels! never forget the amazing people I met!

Teach, Learn, Share

I´d be more than happy to teach and share with you my music and dancing skills.
I can teach how to play the piano, flute, sing and teach German and English.
I would love to learn more about South America and different cultures.
