Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like the idea of exploring a city with locals and making friends with different people. Whilst staying with you learn a lot more about a country's culture, history and hidden gems than a regular tourist.
Willing to experience both hosting and couchsurfing, I enjoy being part of the couchsurfing family!

Interests

Exploring, Middle Eastern culture, architecture, arts, history and literature/poetry but also interested in hiking, biking, all kinds of water sports (currently really into scuba diving)

I try to give everything at least a first chance before I decide whether it suits me or not. And as days are not long enough I also enjoy spending the nights out going to bars and dancing.

Music, Movies, and Books

As for music - techno it is . I’m always down to explore night life and clubs.
Adult me studies Middle Eastern Studies, so a big part of literature I read is Arab or Israeli, but you might also find me reading Russiana literature like Dostojevski or Tolstoi.
Apart from this I’m into analogue photography and arthaus movies

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Spending the first covid lockdown on a Thai island (definitely was the best decision - both retrospectively and back then)

cooking together (vegan of course) & tasting really nice wines
