About Me

Hello! My name is Patricia and I´m fairly new to the concept of couchsurfing but I fell in love right away! I´m hoping to meet many new and amazing people and make memories that will last and maybe meet up again!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I think that the best way to fully grasp the spirit of a foreign place is not to walk the path of hundreds of tourists before me and take photos like on google. I want to meet up with locals, knowing the best bar in town, the best coffee shop to stalk passerbys and the best rooftop for stargazing (okay, this one may be a little bit too romantic but I want to get a point across). So I hope to meet new people to maybe visit again and to experience every citys full potential.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite type of book would be fantasy, but I will read almost every book from historical fiction to psychological papers (but those mainly for uni). If I had to name one tho I´d say that my current fave book would be the Fifth Wave by Rick Yancey, he basically throws stylistic devices around like its carnival but I like it, and Demian by Hermann Hesse which will probably be one of the best books I´ve ever read.
I´m into poetry as well (due to my advanced course in German and English I get particularly excited when I see verses and stanzas) and a few of my favorites would include Robert Frost, Edgar Allen Poe, Novalis, Gottfried Benn and Pablo Neruda (quite cliched, I know).
My taste in music is impossible to be pinpointed to just one genre (altho I´ve been into Japanese jazz of the 70 lately). From rap to classical music I´m all down for it ( Japanese jazz from don´t like hard bass and techno tho). As for the language, I don´t care either; I´m listening to German, English, French, Spanish and Korean music (to list the basics), so I´m pretty much open for everything!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once climbed the chimney of a nearby high school ( which is quite high I might add). Kind of put things back into perspective.
