Please DO NOT leave any of your belongings behind when you leave. I ABSO-****ing-lutely HATE IT when people leave their belongings. Allow enough time for packing, there is not excuse and I WILL NOT answer any calls for items left behind...

I expect you to be a fairly independent traveler.

I accept people from all backgrounds, races, religion, sexual orientation etc... as long as you respect our way of life and share but don't impose your point of view.

Avoid wherever possible the purchase of products containing plastic, though I know this is not always possible and I will accept it if it cannot be helped. Please make use of the reusable carrier bags I already have for shopping (groceries or otherwise)

You MUST bring your own reusable water bottle. No excuses .

BATHROOM ITEMS . You can use mine.

FREE SAMPLES OR LITTLE CONTAINERS OF KETCHUP ETC...

No take aways in my home. Make something with the things I have and replace it later.

INFORMATION FLYERS/LEAFLETS..

PRESENTS OR SOUVENIRS FROM YOUR COUNTRY... a simple "thank you note" written on a piece of paper (even better if it is scrap paper) will suffice!

PLASTIC JUICE OR WATER BOTLES.

DISPOSABLE STRAWS... You are welcome to bring your own reusable straw or use mine.

Please recycle things properly in the bins in the kitchen, the bin with the transparent bag is for all recycling but you must make sure to at least rinse/wash cans and bottles properly before you put them there.

Lastly, if you want to increase the chances that I accept your request then you must send me a request explaining, in your own words, what are the things I am asking you NOT to do whilst in my home. Sadly, I have had too many requests from people who don't even know how to reclycle or care enough about the environment.

I think the best part so far has been the exchange of ideas and experiences 🤓. The laughs we've had, sometimes, at each other's expense. Sharing good times and the feeling of being among good old friends is absolutely priceless! ...and for me, it doesn't have to be often or planned.
