About Me

Im free spirited, at least most of the time. Traveling is my favorite thing to do. I can live anywhere. I was born on the island of Trinidad and Tobago. I have lived all over North America, four years in Germany, and I just moved to Alaska from Italy. I have visited over 20 countries and counting.

I love social environments, but can definitely hang out at home and watch an entire season of Dexter in two nights. Making dinner for friends is tons of fun for me. I really enjoy people. At least the ones worth enjoying.

Music is my air I cannot live without it. I can dance all night. Actually, I have danced all night. I have a whole lot of Carribean flare. I love Carnival and anything that has to do with dancing down the streets in the Carribean wearing nothing but feathers and beads, slightly inebriated. The inebriation in part helps with my allergy to feathers.

I love people who love people if that makes any sense. Life is too short to be grumpy all the time. My heart has a very comfortable place on my sleeve, and I think it makes me a better person because of it.

I truly enjoy art and the differences in cultures, music, food, and most of all people. It's a learning opportunity, knowledge is power.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Why not?! I have only one life to live, and I plan on living it to the fullest. I think this is a great way meet new people. I am planning on moving back to Europe soon and I would love to make new friends.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like any book that paints a beautiful picture. Elie Weisel is one of my favorite authors. Jane Eyre is one of my favorite books.

I loved Gladiator, Braveheart, Jon Wick, anything that can make me cry and has some serious fight scenes. I also really enjoy indies like Rabbit Proof Fence, City of God, Run Lola Run, Pans Labyrinth, 13 Warriors, and Red Tide.

Game of Thrones, Supernatural, Dexter, Walking Dead, Penny Dreadful, Daredevil, Sense8.

I have an eclectic variety of music that spans beyond any boarder dictated by genre. I fall asleep to Max Richter every night and I wake up to Nina Simone.

My favorite food is Trinidadian food and Sushi, but I will try anything twice. You never know when you are going to find a new favorite. Who am I kidding, I really love sushi and Italian gelato.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Four-wheeled in Afghanistan with some Aussies. Helped discover a wild cat that was thought to be extinct.
