ABOUT ME

I like simple things. To see the sunrise, the sunset, contemplate the moon and feel its energy... Feel the powerful soul of a forest, of a tree, of people... To hear the water running in the river, the waves in the sea, to feel the power of the sun on my skin. Get lost in a new place and find my way again... Open my mind, let thoughts flow, realize I am living in this wonderful world, smile and keep on being happy. I love the world and I love the people. Maybe I'm a romantic or just a dreamer but it's the way I am :)

I would need a whole conversation to express my thoughts... But very briefly: Life is a challenge made out of challenges. And I love new challenges!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm new in CS, but I used to do something like CS through friends of friends and family of friends. Then I finally decided to join the community because it will definitively open my traveling options :)

So far I surfed in Ukraine, Israel, Jordan, Morocco, Spain and Portugal; hosted a few times in my place; met people from CS for coffee and short walking tours in Lisbon, Sintra and Belém :)

Interessen

Travelling, Nature (Botany is my passion), Ethnobotany and traditional uses of plants, traditional Music & Dances, to know and get in touch with different cultures (religions, thoughts, philosophies, ways of life), people, share ideas, meditation, going out in the field, meet interesting souls, new experiences :))

Night swim in a river full of crocodiles by the full moonlight in Belize. Indescribable :)

Feel the breath of the tropical rainforest while waking up from the top of the tree canopy in Borneo

Three thirds of the moon having three cups of coffee in a pink beach, watching the sunset. Stars shining in the sky, the smiling Moon, three green turtles bringing life and the glowing waves. The big Sun was rising and we were in sandy golden desert. And then you realize it was not a dream... Inspiring Oman

Having the night sky turned upside down and the stars on my foot... Or were they glowing mushrooms? :) That was on a night walk in the tropical rainforest, Borneo!

Lehren, lernen, teilen

It is a very rich experience to teach and learn from other people.

I am very happy to teach what I love - Botany, but science in general. I can teach you a lot of other stuff I can't remember now :)

I want to learn from you also, your life experience, your trips around the globe, your contribution to the world, whatever you would like to share I would love to hear. I consider myself an open-minded person always seeking to learn new things. I love to get to know about cultures and religions, so I would be pleased if you could tell me traditional stories or sayings, share music, how to play traditional instruments, how to dance traditional dances, whatever you're happy to share... :)

It really depends, but I can cook some vegetarian versions of portuguese traditional dishes if you like :)
