CURRENT MISSION

I wish to change directions and do more for the conservation and protection of wildlife . I do not want to live in a world devoid of the wonder and beauty of nature.

ABOUT ME

I've started to grow up and realize that I have to contribute in order to preserve the nature that I have enjoyed trekking through up until now. I have visited most parts of the world, including K2, G1, and Everest base camps, the Antarctic, gorilla trekking, backpacking in Patagonia etc and I hate to think it is all doomed. I have to decide what I can do to help preserve what is left of these places beyond the token letters of protest and cheques to Conservation Societies with which I have hitherto soothed my conscience.

PHILOSOPHY

To try to be at peace with myself and the world and to always love and protect the animals of this world who are the true innocents.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

gorilla trekking in Rwanda and Zaire (as it was then called), climbing the Baltero Glacier to K2 and G1 base camps. Everest base camp. the annual return of the Bon god in Kinnear.
