About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To be a happy & humble bad ass princess

ABOUT ME

I'm a crazy girl from the north of Sweden - I grew up in the woods and I think that is why I always feel the call from nature. For many years I have been unsure if I wanted to be some sort of mountain guide or if I should have a career in politics. International politics is my vocation, as I believe the rich world must do all it can to help the marginalized people help themselves, and there is a need to lend our voices to them who have no political opportunities. Travelling in poor countries has helped me decide that I can't be at peace just living a life all about me. So now I am completing my two degrees and trying to get out to the mountains as much as possible at the same time. That has really slowed school down cuz darn, there are just so many good places to go do fun things... But this next semester is an internship in order to get a move on with my career...

Interests

I love to talk to people and listen to their ideas and exchange experiences and conclusions. I am an outdoorsy girl that likes climbing mountains, snowboarding, skiing, skating, trekking... you get the picture. But I am always up for new experiences and believe in remaining humble before all new places and people. Don't diss what you ain't tried! :D

Music, Movies, and Books

The 3 best movies of the 21s century:
1. Into the Wild
2. Touching the Void
3. Lost in Translation

But right now I can't see Nacho Libre enough.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was in Nepal before X-mas (2008) with my best girl-friend Moa. She was having a bit of a down period in Abu Dhabi, where she lives. The Nepal trip wasn't planned at all, we didn't even know where we were gonna sleep the first night. We just winged it. We flew out to the Annapurna area and trekked up into the mountains, where they believe in the stories of the Yeti. At night we slept in some pretty crazy places, in Nepalese villages. It was intense, and I was so happy we did it. It was brilliant.

All my trips have been meaningful and fun. I have always met cool people who tell me interesting life stories, found myself in mind-boggling landscapes or felt myself grow by doing something new and daring.

My greatest moments, however, have always been in the mountains; climbing, hiking, ice-climbing snowboarding.
