About Me

From an early age I caught the traveling bug, my parents have exposed me to various places around the world in particular Europe, America, and Canada. It is this sense of curiosity and knowledge that I seek while abroad. I take every opportunity that prevails itself to travel the world. We can all learn so much from one another if only we have an open mind.

I have recently completed my undergraduate degree in Human Rights with a minor in Political Science and have decided to take a year off from school; now, I am living my best life!

I have always found it astonishing how quickly a person can come into your life and make a significant impact on you. How quickly individuals become attached to one another and feel as though they have known each other their entire lives, but realistically they haven't.
I believe that there is no such thing as coincidences, but, everything happens for a reason.

Also, I strongly believe that there is no such thing as strangers, only friends you haven't met yet.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

A few of my friends have done couch surfing with many successes. I think it is a perfect way to get to know a person, their country, and their culture from their different perspectives and the way they live life.

Now, from my own experiences, I find couch surfing the perfect way to meet locals and find all of the 'hidden gems' while learning the culture and the language from those who know it best!

Interests

I love food, I love making, eating it, buying it, and watching on TV, you name it, I will probably like it. It brings people together, and it brings joy into the lives of individuals. I love to explore and try new things. I love to wander. I am always interested in hearing the stories of other individuals, everyone has their own interesting story.

Music, Movies, and Books

For the most part, I enjoy all sort of music, in particular alternative, classical and indie.
thus far, my favorite book that I've read has been the alchemist. I think it is very important to read, it opens one's mind to new concepts and ideas.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One...? Ha. Well, as I write this I am sitting in a hotel that I accepted a job for during the summer. I didn't know anyone here, and I wasn't exactly sure what my job entailed, but hey, we learn as we go ;)

Teach, Learn, Share

I will surely learn something from you and vice versa, there is always something someone knows that you don't.
