About Me

CURRENT MISSION
Explore as many things as possible. Preferably, with the wind in my hair.

ABOUT ME
My friends mocks me for being a flower-child. My dad says I go wherever the wind takes me. Both statements are somewhat true.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Meet new people and hear their stories, exchange thoughts, values, cultures and maybe a drink (or ten)

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I would say I enjoy all kinds of music. I tend to overplay a few artists at a time. At the moment these are Funkadelic, Patti Smith, Pj Harvey and thee oh sees. When the weather is gray and dull I like to listen to the beach boys - if that's not a mood lifter I don't know what is.

Movies: Movies that makes you think, movies with beautiful pictures, movies that provoke. If I have to choose one I would say Melancholia by Lars Von Trier.

Books: ALICE IN WONDERLAND, Love in the time of cholera, The unbearable lightness of being, In the time of the butterflies, Just kids, Knots

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Being an assistant teacher and making small documentary portraits of the children at a learning center in the small village El Cajul in the Dominican Republic turned my world upside down and made me reevaluate my priorities and view on the world.
