CURRENT MISSION

I just finished my studies in Heidelberg and am going to do an internship in Grenoble from September 2017 to February 2018. It's a German company so I can work using the languages I already know while studying and practicing French in my free time :)

I'm really looking forward to exploring the area of Grenoble and meeting new friends!

28-year-old female graduate, B.A. in Japanese History and English Studies, M.A. in Transcultural Studies. Before finding a 'real' job I'm brushing up my online marketing & French skills with an internship at a German company in France.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've done some surfing before when I traveled in Japan. I still plan on hosting sometime once I've got my own place. But for now I'm looking for a place to stay during my first days in Grenoble as I'm afraid that I won't find permanent accommodation by the beginning of September. I'd also like to use couchsurfing to meet new people & maybe find someone who'll show me around a bit!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've surfed twice in Sendai with very nice people. Looking forward to surfing again :)

To be honest, I like to keep it quiet - that means I enjoy a good meal & a drink or two with friends, a good book, TV Show or movie, and to practice yoga & meditation from time to time. I also love exploring new places by foot or by bicycle and am open to new things!
