My destination in Vancouver Island at the moment to go see some old growth and be on the coast for a little while then work my way to the interior

I've recently gotten the bug for blacksmithing and would love to absorb any knowledge that anyone has on this subject and food for that matter. I'm just looking to meet new and interesting people as I explore our great country. Any kind of outdoors adventure information I will gladly take and even sites to see in the town's and city's throughout the country.
