I grew up in speaking both English and German at home, so I'm quite fluent in these languages. I started learning Spanish a few months ago because I plan on visiting some Spanish speaking countries in the future, but at the moment it's really best to stick to English ;)

I'm fond of music and I also play a few Instruments (mainly guitar, but also a little violin, banjo and mandolin) and I like to sing and paint every so often. I'm not a pro at any of these things, but I like being creative and I do it just for fun.
I get along with most people quite well, and I like hanging out in the evenings and having a beer or three ;)
There are probably a lot of people who are better at cooking than me, but I think it's nice to cook together have a nice meal afterwards.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like traveling and I especially like meeting new and interesting people. The second part isn't always that easy if you come to a new city where you don't know your way around and perhaps can't even speak the language.
I think that on couchsurfing you can find a lot of open, interesting and friendly people that you can have a good time with and can share your experiences with. And that's a nice thing to have when coming to a new place.
