About Me

I do a lot of creative writing and post it on a blog https://thelifelonglearningvehicle.wordpress.com/
I enjoy singing, playing guitar and violin
I love to draw and dance - you shoulda seen me at that techno festival

I have basic medical knowledge

I did a yoga retreat, paying extra for private lessons so I could practice back home by myself. Now I can teach others the same routine!

I speak English fluently and have an intermediate level of Japanese speaking/writing

I've got anaphylaxis to peanuts and cashews

I'll be in Europe for a couple months as of late August and am keen to take it slow, travelling to fewer places and spending quality time with the locals to really get a feel of what it's like to live in a foreign area, as opposed to ticking off all the touristy sites and destinations day after day. As a songwriter I'd love to take on as many opportunities as I can during this trip to share music with others. I also chose to start learning German before my trip so if anyone's interested in doing a language exchange hit me up!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

After reading Vagabonding by Rolf Potts and hearing friends reminisce about their travel experiences, I'd have to say couchsurfing is a must for a young traveller like myself; it's a great way to get a local, cultural and authentic perspective that cannot be reproduced by staying in a hotel. It's also cheaper than a hotel and more social!
