Overview
About Me
I moved to Berlin from Australia in September 2017 to work as a car designer for Volkswagen and life changed forever. I found that I was a wanderer and I was my happiest when I was chasing my dreams.
Germany became my home for over two years, living mostly in Berlin but I lived for periods in Frankfurt and Munich.
Just before the Pandemic I was backpacking in Poland and was offered an amazing opportunity and decided to take a leap of faith and move to Gothenburg, Sweden. Two and half years later I have built a life for myself here and I have never been more fulfilled.
A very happy Australian, but I am a citizen of the world. I am very curious about the different people and cultures in the world! Life is most exciting for me when I am surrounded by wonderful people and I am living in the moment. All the new people I have met have changed me, but I am still a beach obsessed Aussie. I adore live music, have attempted to try all the beers in Europe, can cook some okay food, and love playing chess (I am not very good). In addition to progressing my career I am also on a journey to find the world's greatest pizza.
Couchsurfing has become an integral part of how I travel. I have used it with friends to be hosted and I have used it to attend events in New York, Lisbon, Barcelona, Toronto, Warsaw, Nice and many other cities.
The best part about CS I believe is the connections it forms between people. I used it in Berlin to attend an event when I first moved to Europe, it was my first time using the app and I was really nervous, but I ended up making two of my best friends.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love signer-songwriter music as it usually a window to the persons soul. I like jazz and when I party I do enjoy some techno. However heavy metal has been a constant in my life since I was about 15 years old.
While backpacking I usually try to find live music to see, especially live Jazz. I can sit at a live jam session all night with a glass of wine.
I have been reading fantasy novels since a child and I love the studio Ghibli movies, anything that stimulates my creativity and my imagination!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
We all have the potential to do amazing things, but I think its usually the smaller things that can be most fulfilling.
Teach, Learn, Share
If you want, I can teach you how to cook mushroom burgers!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I love to laugh, tell jokes and make people smile! I also enjoy cooking dinner for people and having a drink with them too and talking about the world.
