About Me
Hello world and all its wonderful people!
I'm Patrick from Svendborg, Denmark. I am a happy, smiling, polite and open-minded individual. I am an loving, kind, very down-to-earth type of guy, always open to meet new people with a loving heart and to forge new friendships.
I am at a point in my life where i wish to travel around the world, visit its beautiful nature and experience all its cultural cities.
I am a vegetarian, or actually pescetarian, since I do eat fish and eggs though i'll rather do without. I like the idea of becoming a vegan and who knows, maybe at some point it'll happen.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
As mentioned before I am quite eager to travel, see the world and meet new people, and what better way to do this than combining it all into one!
I heard about Couchsurfing from my brother who's been surfing around in Australia and the idea instantly caught my attention. Its a wonderful way to travel and to meet new people as well as lending ones own couch to fellow travellers. I can simply say, definitely on board!
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I wish to host Couchsurfers some day, but it might not be before i move to Copenhagen.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I just recently joined CS so i don't really have a lot of experience use this media to surf around while traveling. It is not unfamiliar to me though, i have often be couchsurfering in Denmark while visting friends, but i hope that i will only experience a lot of merely fantastic things on my journey and meet an ocean of wonderful people.
Interests
I am a very relaxed and down-to-earth person and my friends often refer to me as kind of a hippie (But in a good way). I love the nature and to be outdoors and I love the ocean and the forests. I really enjoy going for a swim as often as I can or for a walk through the green wonders of earth. What i enjoy most about traveling is to learn about different cultures and traditions, it is very exciting to hear about old legends, myth and stories as well as religions and folklore.
As a recent music graduate and a free spirit my interests of cause invovle a lot of music as well. Music is big part of my life and who I am, i play both guitar and bass, a little piano and sing in a choir. Besides playing music myself i also work behind the music. I have a great passion for sound and i work as a sound technician at a local veneu in my home town. My dream is to become a professional sound technician, working with live concerts and record producing as well as playing music on the side.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Personally i'd say I have a very wide taste in music, I am into everything from Bach and Mozart to Classic rock, New Wave, Psychedelic, Hiphop, Folk, Reggea etc. and lately i've been traveling through the universe of World Music, Jazz and Funk. Musically i'm an all around guy and I love sharing music with people I meet and to extend my musical knowledge. Some of the bands i listen to the most lately would probably be: Hiatus Kaiyote from Australia, Snarky Puppy from New York and Mac DeMarco from Canada.
Movies: As well as music i find that I have a wide taste with movies as well though I am not very fund of horror movies or really silly comedies. Watching movies is not something I do very often, but I enjoy it now and then. I don't know which ones are my favorites perhaps "Lords of Dogtown" is one but I am, of cause, a big fan of both the "Lord of The Rings", "Star Wars" and of cause the TV series "Game of Thrones".
Books: I'm not that much of an avid reader but i like reading now and then, often I find that I have to much energy and to many ideas to sit still and read - I'd rather go outside and get my hands dirty og practice music. That said I do enjoy reading when I finally find the time and calm for it. I like reading both fiction and non-fiction, my favorite books are "A Short History of Nearly Everything" by Bill Bryson, "The Hitchhikers Guide to The Galaxy" by Douglas Adams and "The Hobbit" by J.R.R Tolkien.
What I Can Share with Hosts
What can i share with hosts? yes well. I am very polite, helpful and hardworking young man, so if you need a hand with anything I will gladly help. I enjoy sharing my passion for music, nature and life. I love sharing stories and I really love listing to stories and to learn from the people I meet.
I can share my humble company; an open heart and big smile, as well as a my passion for food and a helping hand in the kitchen as long as its vegetarian.
