One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
My first travel was alone at the age of 15 to Spain I stayed with the family of a friend (who was himself traveling) and realized I love to travel and learn / experience new places and people. I've had so many great experiences... in so many countries... I just can't type it all here... and it kind of seems like bragging in a way, and I prefer to only share that with a friend over a glass of wine (or three). :-)
Teach, Learn, Share
If you are Couch Surfing at someone's home, spend some time and share some of your culture with your host. Be thankful -(show it or say it). I usually try to cook a meal for my host (if they care that I use their kitchen- always with respect, or take my host(s) out and buy them a drink (or if I have the money) I pay the whole dinner. Just a small way to show your gratitude.
