Hello there! I'm Patríck. I'm a free spirited, laid back, considerate, social human. I traveled for much of my 20s, and have recently settled down in Pittsburgh, PA. I have been setting down roots and contributing to the robust, intimate community here. I hope to be an ambassador to Pittsburgh, as it is one of my favorite cities, and I love singing its praises and showing off all her hidden gems.

Some of my major interests include biking, yoga, night life, and urban exploring. Techno is a core part of my life, and Pittsburgh's underground Queer techno scene is the community I am most rooted in. I travel around the East Coast and Great Lakes region for queer techno parties with the goal of making and maintaining connection with an extended network of friends.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

After traveling for a number of years, I've decided to set down roots in my favorite city, Pittsburgh. Now that I have stability in my life and the ability to offer shelter, I want to open up my communal home to host travelers with the goal of broadening my social network. My primary intention is to host queer folks and/or folks in the techno scene.

I also travel around the East Coast and Great Lakes regions for queer parties and techno shows, and hope to find like minded folks in either of those communities willing to offer a couch to crash on and make a new friend!

Teach, Learn, Share

I live and love yoga! I've been practicing for eight years now and can say yoga has truly changed my life in so many ways. I've discovered that my life's passion is to share the wonders of yoga with as many people as possible so that more people can find the mental peace and physical vitality that I've found.

I'm also very interested in combining ceremonial cacao with meditation / yoga / dance.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Whole-food cooking is one of my passions - I would love to cook a delicious, wholesome, vegetarian meal for you!
I'm a fermentation fanatic and I'm excited to propagate the culture wherever I go! We could have a workshop on making sauerkraut, yogurt, or whatever else strikes your fermentation fancy!
