My name is Patrick and I am 31 years old from Sydney, Australia! I LOVE travel, history, politics, tattoos, new age spirituality, nature parks, hiking, beaches, swimming, camping, roller blading and theatre (especially musical theatre). I also LOVE meeting new people and creating connections with travellers from around the world!

I started out as a couchsurfing host in Sydney in 2017. I loved hosting people from around the world and showing them Sydney! I then moved to the UK (2018-2020) and used couchsurfing as a guest - again, all amazing experiences! In 2023 I began hosting couchsurfers in Sydney again :)

I am a proud member of the 🏳️‍🌈LGBTQIA+🏳️‍🌈 community (gay man); 🏳️‍🌈LGBTQIA+🏳️‍🌈 people and allies welcome :)

I live alone in a two bedroom, two bathroom apartment. Happy to host people in my spare bedroom. Generally speaking I’m able to host Monday-Thursday. Weekends are difficult for me to host.

💕 If you do a deep dive into the profiles of the people I stayed with in Europe, you may notice that many of them were nudist / naturalist hosts. These were great experiences where I learnt a lot about myself and my body. I don’t live a naturalist lifestyle in my life, but I’m aware a lot of other couchsurfers do. You are welcome to be naked in my home if you wish. This is NOT AT ALL a requirement for staying with me. As I said, I do not live this way. I just want nudist / naturalist couchsurfers to know that my home is also a safe space for them 💕

I’m currently trying to learn both Japanese 🇯🇵 and German 🇩🇪 so any speakers of these languages, please reach out!

I live in Wolli Creek, 7.5km from Central station.
Sydney's airport is only 7km from the city and Wolli Creek is next to it!
Wolli Creek is one train stop from International Airport or two train stops from Domestic Airport.
Wolli Creek is 4 stations away from Sydney Central (approx 10min train ride) and 6 stations away from Circular Quay where the Harbour Bridge and Opera House are (approx 15min train ride).
Wolli Creek train station is on two train lines - the Airport Line (which also takes you to Sydney Harbour) and the Bondi Junction Line (which takes you to Bondi Beach).
It is about a 5min uber ride from International Airport and a 10min uber ride from Domestic Airport.

I love meeting new people and seeing the places I visit from the perspective of a local!

I once backflipped off a tram in Melbourne to impress a guy on a first date. We spent the night in hospital instead of at the restaurant. I promise not to backflip off your balcony!
