I joined couchsurfing when I travelled latin america for 8 months - now that i'm back home, I have a HUGE karma debt, and want to pay the world back for all the amazing things people gave me and did for me

Interessi

I love hiking, being outdoors, exploring cities, taking photos, drinking coffee, watching reading movies, books, talking to people for hours and writing

Musica, film e libri

Books: Haruki Murakami, Brandon Sanderson, Flowers for Algernon, the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo

Movies: If you were to draw a triangle around all the movies I love, the three corners would be Love Actually, Pulp Fiction, and Frozen.

Music: Anything but country

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

9 months travelling from Canada -> Colombia, in which I did the following:
- Hike to the top of a mountain alone for a one-man karaoke/dance party while watching the best sunrise of my life
- Swim 40m to shore in the Pacific with a dislocated shoulder AND a surfboard
- 4 days homeless-hitchhiking across the yucatán peninsula, mexico
- See the inside of an active volcano at night
- Climb a half-marathon trail to the highest point in panama overnight with a 20kg backpack to see the sunrise and see the Atlantic and Pacific at the same time
- Do a free 4 day tour to the Lost City in Colombia in exchange for photography
